https://tasjournal.com/index.php/tas/article/view/72

The aim of this paper is to investigate the sustainability of the composite concrete Bamboo reinforced deep beam under three-point bending analysis. The Bamboo culms have light weight, and they are resistance under the bending test. Despite extending the length of the concrete beam, it behaved perfectly by adding Bamboo culms as reinforcement bars. The composite concrete Bamboo reinforced deep beam is presented the excellent chord rotation which is close to the steel reinforced concrete beam (SRCB). Also, the moment rotation of the CCBRB is same to the (SRCB). That is why Bamboo might be utilized as an alternative to steel reinforcement bars in buildings.
Sepanta NaimiYalda Dehqan Nezhad

https://tasjournal.com/index.php/tas/article/view/73

In our country, intense immigration movements from rural areas and villages to urban areas have started because the opportunities in the city are better than the opportunities in the rural areas and villages and there are other reasons. Cities have experienced problems due to overpopulation and inadequacy as a result of these intense migrations and they have developed irregularly. As a result of this irregular and unplanned development, slums and illegal buildings have increased and turned into unplanned and problematic urbanization. In this study, the process of migration from rural areas and villages to cities, the reasons for these migrations and the problems in cities as a result of intense migration to cities are explained. The most important of these problems are slums and illegal buildings, the problems they cause and the damages they cause to the city. Measures and recommendations to be taken against these have been made. It was mentioned how city planning should be and examples of real-life places were given. changes in urban development since 1950 and the development process in Turkey have been described. The main reason of internal migration in Turkey were examined. Unplanned urbanization and urban planning have been examined on the city of Malatya, and the problems that occur in the city that grows irregularly and unplanned due to the increasing population in Malatya over time, namely, slums, illegal housing, traffic density, increasing unemployment, construction in unsuitable regions despite being in an earthquake zone have been mentioned. In order to offer solutions to these problems and how to take precautions, both the literature review and the discussions with the authorized persons and their knowledge and opinions were evaluated. It has been learned that the city administration has made a precaution against problems caused by unplanned urbanization and unplanned urbanization.
Sepanta NaimiMervan Siraç Yıldızhan

https://tasjournal.com/index.php/tas/article/view/74

There have been many earthquakes in the world from past to present. Due to the loss of life and property as a result of these earthquakes, a measure had to be taken. This situation has pushed to build structures more resistant to earthquakes. In our country, this situation came to the fore after the Marmara earthquake. The use of steel structures started to spread in this period. It has been observed that especially light steel systems are becoming widespread. Light steel system is a building system formed with cold formed profile elements. Steel structures have become very common due to their superior mechanical properties, being practical, economical, light and reusable. However, the increasing number of fires in recent times has led to negative and undesirable consequences in steel structures. Fire incident, that is, high temperature, is an event that steel structures cannot withstand and affects steel structures very negatively. Therefore, measures had to be taken against this situation. In this study, information is given about the historical development of steel structures and light steel structures. Then, the relationship between light steel structures and fire is explained. Mechanical properties and thermal (thermal) properties of steel structures and light steel structures have been studied. The behavior and attitude of thermal properties against high temperatures are presented by examining the required studies. The relationship between mechanical properties and temperature has been explained in detail. Light steel structures have low temperature resistance. The precautions to be taken in this situation, solutions have been investigated and the ideal solution has been found.
Sepanta NaimiMuhammed İmran Uzun

2023-03-042023-03-043053549How the Green Roof is Effective in Reducing the Ambient Temperature
https://tasjournal.com/index.php/tas/article/view/75

The green roof is a roof that is mostly surrounded by vegetation and soil or is covered with a vegetative medium. Chlorophyll creation has a positive effect on the climate of the city and can also contribute positively to providing cool air inside the buildings. This cooling of air occurs by reducing the penetration of heat through the roof and providing stronger insulation to prevent indoor air to become warm. As a result, the indoor temperature can be efficiently decreased during summer and increased during winter. Decreasing power consumption is one of the major concerns for sustainability in cities. Making a roof garden is offered as one of the ways to reduce energy consumption in major cities. A roof garden or green roof - if properly designed and executed by considering climate issues - can greatly help to decrease energy consumption. Changing buildings roofs to green roofs could improve the exchange of air between areas of high building density and open spaces between them and accordingly adjust the city›s air moisture. This technology has several advantages including less wastage of heating and cooling, purification of air, reduction of noise corruption, and most importantly energy consumption efficiency – factors that can help the stabilization of city life. Due to the improvement in the social, economic, and environmental conditions, the development of green roofs has always been at the top of the agenda in advanced cities. Heat loss through the roof of the buildings is high and there is a lot of energy wastage in higher floors units. Therefore, the green roof is the answer to this problem. Green roofs by rising roofing coatings, act as thermal insulation and help control heat exchanges between the inside and beyond of the buildings. In the present research, behind recognizing the benefits of green roofs with this hypothesis that “green roof and how the design of the green roof has an effective role in reducing heat transfer” with help of analysis software called Ansys, three samples of conventional roofs, green roofs conventional and green roofs with a special detail (fiberglass layers) analyzed and heat transfer comparative compared. Also, installed heat sensors to confirm the thermal performance of green roofs for designed green tops and simple ample of normal green roof, point optimization of designed green roof respect to normal green roofs, heat performance-wise. With software analysis and laboratory samples, green roof compared to 50% less heat transfer rather conventional roof and a green roof with fiberglass coatings to 40% rather green roof conventional optimized. Shading and evaporative cooling plants and the role of roof coatings that all perform like insulation have an effective role in reducing heat transfer. In research, methodology research related to the benefits of green roofs is a defining and qualitative approach. But in sectors related to software analysis, these had a quantitative approach and analytical process.
Hamid Ahmadi MajdSepanta NaimiMehmet Fatih Altan
