Abstract

There are many branches of project finance, which is one of the most important lanes in the construction industry, which is based on very long periods in the world. Project finance is a fundamental building block for the completion of projects. Especially in large-scale projects, financial organization is very important. The project financing system, which is implemented within the build-operate-transfer model, which is frequently used in our country, is a project organization company that undertakes the task of securing finance for a public construction project, putting the construction into practice and operating the facility for a certain period of time, and transfers the facility to the public when the operation period ends. In the project finance model, construction companies can take part in project companies as investors or shareholders, in addition to being a contractor. On the one hand, this provides opportunities for contractors and facilitates the government to implement large projects. In this article, the important issues involved in the realization of the build-operate-transfer model projects and the financing analysis of this project type have been made into a report.
