In this research, the red soil will be studied and how to improve its engineering properties by adding quarry dust (QD), then the results will be collected and analyzed. The engineering properties of the red soil can be improved by adding cement and quarry dust, which leads to better results An amount of red soil is taken and replaced with an amount of quarry dust equal to the amount of red soil taken according to the dry mass of the soil and in different proportions: quarry dust (5-30%, 5% increments) cement (2-6%) for an ideal soil and quarry dust mixture. Consistency limits, specific gravity Compression The geotechnical properties test were tested and performed on the red earth as well like consistency limits, specific gravity, compaction, triaxial compression and (UCS) unconfined compressive strength and the results of the UCS test are ten percent. This percentage is the optimum ratio to replace red soil with quarry dust. This mixture saves maximum strength than other mixtures. It has been observed that the geotechnical, shear- strength properties and other properties have been improved as a result of their replacement and thus. In this research, it has been proven that the use of granular industrial by-products improves soil properties and is also economically and socially beneficial and useful
