Abstract

Due to its current location, our country is exposed to very large earthquake movements. It is very important to use the structure with appropriate economic reinforcement and to make it an earthquake-resistant structure, rather than demolishing and re-doing the damaged structures in the earthquake. Ensuring that the building is used in an economical way without demolition is defined as reinforcement. Which reinforcements will be more advantageous in buildings and their advantages will be examined. Reinforcement methods vary according to the geometry and type of damage in buildings. These damages can be corrected with the right methods and practices. In our country, new buildings should accept the earthquake reality and take it seriously and build durable and safe buildings accordingly. Otherwise, life and economic losses can be very high. In this article, strengthening a sample structure with a package program has been examined. good reinforcement recommendation is presented in the conclusion.
