Abstract

One of the most important properties between veneer layers and old pavement that can completely overshadow the performance of the veneer is the shear strength between the layers. Many tests have been developed to measure this resistance, but there is no standard test to measure this shear strength. One of the most realistic methods for evaluating the shear properties between pavement layers is to evaluate the amount of shear stiffness and also the decrease in shear stiffness between the pavement layers under oscillating loading. In this research, an innovative experiment in Amirkabir University of Technology, which is performed by a device called SLT-AUT, was statistically evaluated to measure the reproducibility of the results and also compared with the results presented with previous research. The results of statistical tests indicate the reproducibility and also the similarity of the chart form with the charts of previous research.
