INVESTIGATION OF SLIP STRENGTH OF SAND MIXTURE
Keywords:
Sand mixes, Shear box test, Internal friction angle, Shear strengthAbstract
As a result of mixing sand mixtures with materials with different properties, shear strength, internal friction angles, permeability, cohesion etc. Studies on the examination of the changes of many parameters are widely carried out in the field of geotechnical engineering. In this study, experimental studies were investigated by adding geosynthetics, copolymers, fly ash, geotextiles, various types of clay, waste tires, organic soils, biopolymers to sand mixtures. As a result of this review, in the light of the experimental data obtained by the authors; road constructions, dam body fillings, landfills, ground reinforcements, etc. Mixtures suitable for curative use have been observed in places. Considering that the experimental studies are generally laboratory studies, it is considered that it would be appropriate to replicate the experiments by taking into account the changes in the form and dimensions of the substances used in the mixtures.
